Licence not valid - server does not boot as of today - default licence

Ok I pulled manually the newest version by force.
Server is up and running again. But guys thats clearly bad practice on Teamspeak side.
Cmon you can do better than that after so many years of experience.

I managed to fix it by changing the line ā€œimage: teamspeaksystems/teamspeak6-server:latestā€ to ā€œimage: teamspeaksystems/teamspeak6-server:6.0.0-beta9ā€ in the yaml file.

It seems latest tag is broken ?

**Why does it still fail to boot even after rolling back to Beta 8?

We’ll investigate what happened to the latest tag, but please manually update to the latest server version.

The license included with beta8 expired today and an update is mandatory for the server to start again.

Who had the genius idea to put the expiration date for the default license on a Friday that also is a national holiday in Germany?

Apart from that the entire licensing and self hosting situation feels extremely hostile towards self-hosters.

Edit: Found the edit button! I’ll still keep my other comment up until this one is unhidden or I can understand how it’s off-topic.

I don’t see any option to edit my comment as suggested, so I’m replying instead to ask which part of my comment exactly warrants flagging it as ā€œoff-topicā€?

Hiding valid criticism is exactly the type of behavior I’d consider hostile…

Unable to get past this error on Docker Desktop (GUI)

I thought I would try out the GUI to introduce my less technical friends to Docker in a more gentle way than the CLI. Setup is easy, but each new container I spin up has the same licensing error. If anyone knows a solution without losing the data, feel free to chime in before I roast my server.
