Company I work for (furniture design and production - small company) participates ocasionally in expo events, like 1-2 times in a year. During the event, we show our product to visitors allowing them to play games on PCs on our desks. During last event, we had complaints due to poor quality of game built-in communication, and people suggested us using self-hosted teamspeak 3 server for time of event. Question is: do we need license for this? Basically we need 10-slot server so ppl can play up to 5 vs 5.
As a player, I host my own ts3 server for me and my friends (on my home server) and i would have nothing against using it during those event, but i’m afraid of legal consequences or even taking my private server down.
Should I reach for some kind of individual pricing?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
