Linux TeamSpeak 3 Client crashes on startup

On starting the ts3 client on my linux server, i get the following errormessage:
“terminating with uncaught exception of type std::runtime_error: CTR_DRBG - The entropy source failed”

TS3 Client Version: 3.5.3
Kernel version: 4.4.0-042stab139.1
CPU Architecture: x86_64

I have tried to find people with the same issue on the forums and google but couldn’t find anything. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you a crashdump?

No, there is no crashlog or dump. The only thing i get is that error.

I’m just curious. which linux is this?

Ubuntu 16.04.06 LTS

Running on a VPS i’m renting.

this is ts3 client or ts server?

As said in the title, this is the client.

Generally the client can’t be used on headless setups. But the error doesn’t look like that’s the problem.
It could be different applications sucking dry all system generated entropy. There are ways to virtually feed more random data but I can’t find it right now.
