Maybe I did not find a similar topic… therefore (in advance) Sorry for a probably double post.
I migrated all the server connections from TS3 client (locally stored) to MyTeamspeak, in order to use them in TS5 Client.
Unfortunatelly (with the exception of my own TS3 Server) in TS5 client, there aren’t any rights available on the server which I want to use. in TS3 client, I have elevated or adminstrative rights on several servers, but when using TS5, on that particular servers I am “only” guests.
What did I do wrong? Any ideas?
To change the default Identity you’re using to connect to all Servers, open the Settings → Identities → Open the drop down menu and select the correct Identity and choose Use as Default
Importing an identity from TS3
Exporting the Identity from TS3 is only necessary if it has not been synchronised with myTS prior.
To export an identity from TS3, open the Identities menu. Tools → Identities or use CTRL + I

I tried… but… w/o success, I exported in TS3 as you mentioned, and also imported as you described.
However I’m still “guest” on particular servers using TS5 client while I am Admin using TS3 client.
In TS3 client, there exist “STANDARD” and “DEFAULT” profiles. If I use STANDARD, I am admin, if I use DEFAULT I’m also GUEST in TS3. But for what reason, STANDARD is not exported and also not imported as profile.
What do I do wrong?
At least I’m happy to be admin on my own server also using TS5 client.

Hello everyone. I work in a computer club and I encountered a problem that servers from bookmarks are not saved between accounts that are launched on the same computer in TeamSpeak 5. In TeamSpeak 3, bookmarks were saved locally on the computer, without being tied to an account. Is it possible to transfer saved bookmarks between accounts without re-adding them directly to the account itself in TeamSpeak 5?
You can export the bookmarks from TS3 and import them in TS5. The bookmarks are not shared across the two programs as they are using different databases.
TS5 if I recall correctly only online bookmark storage with local cache. This is better for most of the users as they were uninstalling their programms / re installing their systems and lost all of their bookmarks / identities because they were not synced online.
i have a selfhosted docker instance of TeamSpeak 6
i noticed this issue when logging in with my account to the TeamSpeak server:
using the same account from another machine (another IP aswell) → i log in the server and my server group memberships are gone. i also noticed that the names change to some random name i used once or just my user id name (no nickname)
any hint on what can cause this behaviour?
i usually use the windows client - the alternative login happened from a linux client - not sure if it happens on multiple windows clients (or same OS clients)
Hi, i generally use TeamSpeak 3 when i play games but to do detailed customization in my server like icons i wanted to use TeamSpeak 6 since TS3 does not support file transfer. But when i connect to my server via TeamSpeak 6 and with my account i do not look as owner. I tried to export my .idi from TS3 and import it to new TeamSpeak but didnt work.
