i have a problem with a friend of mine while whispering.
If my friend talks without whisper everything is ok.
If my friend listens to music or hear some ingame sound her whispers have a very low volume.
If my friend has no sounds her whispers has a “normal” volume.
My friend has no extensions but ClientQuery, Control and Gamepad and Joystick Hotkey Support.
Teamspeak Version = 3.6.0 [Stable] Windows.
She is Server Admin.
Her whisper Shortcut is dash on the Num Pad.
I want my friends voice a “normal” volume when she whsipers and get sounds.
This problem was not there before upgrading our clients to version 3.6.0.
Do you have any suggestions and ideas which setting was “misconfigured” or is it a bug?
Or is it a setting on my client which i can change?
We already tried an other shortcut, a new whisperlist.
I reinstalled Teamspeak, used an other PC and downgraded my Client to 3.5.6.
But everytime my friends voice is lowered while she whispers and has sounds.
Seems that there is AGC (Automatic gain control) on capture side active.
Also could be that your friend has echo cancellation active in her capture settings. Turning it off could change this.

What happens in a non whisper conversation with her having other sounds?

What channel codecs and quality are set in your and her channel?

With " If my friend talks without whisper everything is ok." I meant that non-whisper with and without other sounds everything is okay. Sorry for bad description.

You mean Right Click on Channel → Edit Channel → Audio → Codec?
All channels have “Opus Voice” as Codec. And quality is set to 10.
