Make server banner pinned to every channel // show it always in channel info views

Hi everyone.
After our community switched from Discord to TeamSpeak 6 after many years, we’ve noticed that we’re missing one design element we really liked from TeamSpeak 3: a server-wide banner that’s always visible everywhere.

Why? Because it gives the server more identity and personality, and helps it stand out from others. The small banner above the channel list gets overlooked very easily, it’s almost invisible.

There’s plenty of space above the channel area, just like in TeamSpeak 3.

It would be great if server owners had the option to configure this and give their server a bit more individuality.

I also like it personally. Otherwise, the banner is only displayed when you click on the server name or when you enter the server.

Alternatively, it would also be desirable to have individual appearance settings, as with channel banners.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll forward this as a possible client setting, meaning everyone can choose for themselves if they want to use the screen space for the server banner or not.

That sounds great, thank you! From my point of view there are two sides:

1: The server owners who put effort into the design and would like more customization in order to stand out from other servers.

2: The regular users who usually don’t care, as long as they can find and use their channels.

Ideally, I’d prefer the settings to be per server rather than standardized.
Meaning: it would be nice if the banner (and all other personalization options) were always shown on each server by default, and the user would have to disable it per server. That would ensure owners aren’t putting in effort for nothing, and users could decide only after first connecting and seeing the design whether (and what) they might want to hide.

I hope my explanation is clear.
