Migrate TS3-Server from sqlite to mysql

Hey all,

I was just wondering if there is any official documentation on how to migrate a Teamspeak 3 server from sqlite over to mysql or mariadb.

Found quite a few guides using google but nothing official as far as I am concerned

Thanks for the instructions - I am aware of the steps that need to be performed.
I was just wondering if there was an official piece of documentation more or less making the migration “officially supported”…

…and because I could not seem to find anything I thought it would be best to simply ask in the forums - just out of curiosity

There’s this question now, which was never addressed anywhere.
How does CPU/RAM usage compare between using sqlite db and MySQL8?
I can switch to MySQL8 anytime, I just cannot see any possible benefits of this on the internet.

I know this will make it stupid easy to manually edit ts3 database, but this is not something I want to do, not that I am afriad of making a mistake, but all I care is about raw performance, speed and resources usage.

And this question was never addressed how ts3 performance/stability/overhead/usage differs between MySQL and SQLite.

It’s not from teamspeak forum or from the support area but i have made a tutorial about this!
If you want to follow it your are more than welcome. (I have tested in Ubuntu 18.04 and Centos 7).

To be honest just made also a tutorial here
