I started hosting my server around a week ago, it used to work without any problems but then one day I connected to my server and noticed the error: “The TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID. Some myTeamSpeak related services are not available”
I was confused, my friend also connected to the server but he claims that he did not get the error so I assumed that it is a client-sided issue. I checked the console after some researching and noticed an error: “failed to download revocation list - count: 3” Which means that it’s a server sided issue, but it does not make sense how I got the error on my client and my friend did not.
Port 443 is open on my router and on my server’s firewall, that cannot be the issue since it used to work completely fine before. I can also ping the accounting servers on my server.
So now this made me wonder if it’s an issue on Teamspeak’s servers. So I connected to the official Teamspeak public server which you can find in the bookmarks. I connected there and got the same error: “The TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID. Some myTeamSpeak related services are not available” which made me believe it was a problem on Teamspeak’s side but then I connected to a few random servers which I found on server lists and did not get the error.
I also tried uninstalling the Teamspeak 3 client and reinstalling it, logging in and logging back out from my account, Connecting to the server with a completely different IP Address and different account from work, Installing a brand new completely blank server and I always receive the same error.
So this is really confusing, I really have no clue what the problem is and I don’t know how to fix it because it came randomly, out of nowhere. Please help me!
More information: I am running the server on Linux on the Debian 12 distribution, self hosted from home on my own computer.
