The (closed) Beta login screen does not offer a resend button when the Email has not been verified yet. It tells you that you can click here but there is no element to click.

You are right, because “here” should be “over there”.
While “over there” means the original link that opened the site or did send another mail. 
Forwarded this. Don’t remember that we made a change here but else text would be different.
