Other clients partly invisible to me on the server

,

Hey guys,

yesterday I was connected with teamspeak 6 client to a teamspeak 6 server.

I was on a channel with two m8s. After a while another m8 joined the channel, but I was the only one who was not able to see or hear him. But he was able to poke me.

Sorry I was not able to find a related already existing bug description in the forum, maybe I just missed it.

Is this a known issue?

Can you reproduce this issue reliable?

Unfortunatley not, I believe its a sporadic issue.

We experienced it for mutliple users over time. Reconnecting seems to solve the problem temporarily.

But I guess we should expect to see all clients in the channel and the server as long as we have the permissions to do so.

Hi,

I have noticed this issue seems to be conencted to streaming in a way. The person streaming will kind of loose the ability to recieve updates from external users?
Nobody can join the stream anymore and the streaming person doesnt see nor hear new joining users. It persists until at least a reconnect or sometimes even until a restart of the affected TS6-client (the streaming one).

Kind regards

I am not sure its related to streaming, in our case no one was streaming.

One other thing I noticed, when using a different client like teamspeak3 client and connecting to the server, all channels are unsubscribed ( the eye button on ts3 client is grey ) so you cannot see any clients in any channel. This button is missing in ts6 client. By clicking the eye button it solved the issue in ts3 client. Maybe it has something todo with the subscription mechnanism, that I loose my subscriptions sometimes at a specific point in time, or that the clients that are in the list that probably were returned somehow is not filled correctly. Just assumptions. As reconnecting solved the issue for ts6 client, I could imagine that subscribing was processed again and worked flawless then.
