Output ok, input detected but no sound

Hello, I’m currently running TS6 v. 6.0.0-beta5. I’m using Macos 27.0.1.

I can hear people but people can’t hear me.

My microphone is correctly detected.

But I cannot TS6 in the microphone permission settings.

It looks like no applications have been granted microphone access at all.

Is this the first time you installed the client?

Have you tried using your microphone in other applications, such as TeamSpeak 3, to see if it works there?

Otherwise, this looks more like an OS-related issue rather than a TeamSpeak-specific one.

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for your answer. My microphone works on TS3 (I tried it few minutes ago) and any other VoIP application.
Only TS6 has this issue on my Macbook M5, regardless of the app version (x86 / Arm)

Hey,

Wdym by this screenshot ?

No prompt request for mic permission on macos. This is the problem. Never mac asks for mic permission, so, they never could use them.

On print, you could see that Discord and Other Softwares was given permission. But never was asked about TS6. I’m using the last version (beta5 from TS6, ARM compilation)

So you have the same problem as me. Can you click on the “Me too” button so we can show how much people are affected by this problem ? ^^

@TS_Dennis, it seems we are at least 2 that have the same problem on the same build (and platform). Maybe some arm MacOS users aren’t affected because they already allowed permission from a previous beta build ?

@TS_Dennis Its a new installation. I just download and install for first time on Mac Mini the 6.0.0-beta5 version. Build number 1791901251 and the granted mic popup never appears. So the mic doesnt work.

Could I access the beta 1, 2, 3 or 4 to try if the trigger is called?

@Ewdoc @TS_Dennis I solved that.

Sorry for my english.

  1. Please uninstall the TeamSpeak app from your mac.
  2. Go to download the beta4 version in https://files.teamspeak-services.com/pre_releases/client/6.0.0-beta4/teamspeak-client-arm.dmg
  3. Install it

4. When installed, open and you will see that error message saying to move to trash or just ok. PLEASE, CLICK OK.

5. Go in System Settings > Privacy & Security and scroll down untill see a message saying that TeamSpeak app was blocked to protect the mac. So, click in Open Anyway.
6. Click in Open Anyway

7. Finally we got that prompt

Now. You could uninstall that old beta version and download and reinstall the latest beta available on TeamSpeak site.

Hugs from Brazil!

I’ll have a look. I’ll mark this post as solved if it works for me.

Have a great day.

Regards from France ;)
