Questions about slot usage and custom options

Hello there,

we are using TS3 since ages and might want to try to switch to the TS Communities hosted by Teamspeak. Currently, our TS is hosted at Nex Teamspeak. However, we have some questions.

  • How are the slots counted? Are they only e.g., 25 members inside the community or is it the max limit of users that can be online at the same time as on a rented TS3-server?

  • Are there more options in the future in terms of slots?

  • Is there a timeframe when “rented” TS6 servers will become available? Yes we are aware of the self-hosted option, but we don’t want that.

to answer your questions:

Slots function the same as in teamspeak 3. Its concurrent online users and not the max limit of lifetime connected users.

For sure, but I think the new model is still unknown.
