If you suspend a Windows to disk (“hibernate”) with the TS5 client, it takes about 5x as long to reconnect to the teamspeak server than the TS3 client or discord.
How to reproduce:
- Enable suspend to disk in windows (google “enable hibernate windows” if you don’t know how)
- Install both TS3 and TS5 clients and connect both to a server
- Suspend windows to disk
- Turn the PC back on
- Measure the time it takes for both clients to reconnect successfully. The TS5 client will w8 until connection timeout to occur then reconnect, which takes forever. TS3 client just realizes the disconnect way quicker.
