If i use the change recovery code option nothing happens, all my favorites etc are gone and it would be nice to get them back
My guess (Because that’s the me only known way to get in that situation): You did reset your password before and did not enter your old recovery key yet. You won’t get a new key without entering the old one first or did a fallback.
