Removing Unwanted Trackers from TeamSpeak 6

Hello TeamSpeak Community,

I want to bring attention to a growing concern regarding the TeamSpeak 6 app’s reliance on various trackers. Upon reviewing the connections established by the app, it has been noted that it attempts to communicate with several Google-related domains, including:

As a privacy-focused company, TeamSpeak should ideally prioritize user privacy and give users the option to opt-out of such trackers.

I’m adding three more Google endpoints that TS6 calls:

The last one is the only one I’ve noticed that directly affects functioning. If you try to send files via group chats, they need to call this endpoint.

I know that TS6 is based on Chromium, which is managed by Google. But it would be helpful if the Teamspeak developers could clarify whether Teamspeak uses these services or if they are unrelated to them. It would also be great if they allowed users to block these services (if this is possible) in the settings so we wouldn’t have to rely on external firewalls.

i have a pihole setup in front of my server. I don’t notice these sites. the blizzard bnet app tho. sheesh every few minutes. When i get home today I will monitor. to be fair - not all sites like this are recieving telemetry. but it seems like you likely realize this.
