Check your server logs and make sure port is open.
PS tutorial is for outdated server.
http://files.teamspeak-services.com/releases/server/3.13.7/
Use the 3.13.5 from 18 May 2022
why release ports? If the server is not running at my home, but in the data center, I don’t need that.
The server is outdated and was released in 2021
have redone server to latest version, no change
only gives this warning: 2022-08-08 12:11:06.429941|WARNING |Accounting | |Unable to open licensekey.dat, falling back to limited functionalit
And virtual server is stated as running? This small part of the log does not tell me.
If that answer is a “yes” then firewall may still block the port.
Check if UDP port is reachable with tools like tcpdump or wireshark.
Datacenter does not automatically mean that port is reachable/open or that the host itself has no firewall above your machine.
Just used Vnstat to display all ports in use:
tcp 0 0.0.0.0:30033 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0.0.0.0:10011 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0.0.0.0:10022 0.0.0.0:* LISTS
tcp 0 0.0.0.0:10080 0.0.0.0:* LISTS
udp 0 0.0.0.0:9987 0.0.0.0:*
udp6 0 0 :::9987 :::*
Do not know Vnstat, but you need something that records traffic to see if that traffic comes trough to the machine where client wants to connect.
