A friend and I are currently paying for a server hosted by TS.
A mistake was made when copying the Admin server group to duplicate and rename it. This box popped up with ‘Enter Server Group name’ and ‘Create group using this template’
I selected Server Admin (Owner) as the template by mistake and it copied all of the Admin group permissions to the SA Owner.
I created a Server Query Login. Used yatqa to login. I now don’t have sufficient permissions to fix this.
As far as I can tell the SA group is missing ‘Ban & Create priv key’ permissions. Is there anyway to repair the SA perms?
Were these permissions available before? It could be that they are not granted by your server hoster.
TeamSpeak does not offer server hosting and for further support you should reach out to the ATHP, as they have access to the root server and they should be able to fix the group for you.
Yes, the SA Owner group had every permission. I use to be able to look at the Ban list and I also created a priv key couple weeks before this mistake was made.
You’re right, our ATHP is Mejor. Do you think they can reinstate these permissions w/o a full server reset?
