Screen share does not work. Infinite loading screen

After almost 2 days, I connected tonight with a friend and we wanted to try new features. We tried every setting, every resolution of screen share and camera sharing, nothing works… I get stuck on an infinite connecting screen and no one of us can see the other.

Is this normal?

Same here, works with some users, doesn’t work with others. Probably a problem with NAT and p2p connections. VPN helps, but waiting for a response from developers

I also have a subscription to a VPN, tried either it ON or OFF and multiple locations, nothing helped…

Yeah, it worked randomly for me with VPN. But yeah, with p2p and lots of NATs in between just praying for a sooner release of the server streaming

This is unacceptable…

also I have a custom VPN on my VPS, with all ports open, so that’s probably why it worked. Rented VPNs probably don’t give you this option

Basically I have to expose myself to a lot of risks for a probabilistic screen share? I wouldn’t say this is good…

Appreciate your answers though

yup, so far it’s p2p streaming, so not recommending screeshare with anyone you don’t know. Still waiting for an official response

Yes, luckily I’ve been keeping up a community TS own server since 2017, so at least I have people I trust, but even in this case it simply does not work…

Hey, any update on this one? My friends cant connect to me but i connect to everyone and see their screens, I am the only one blocked, they are connecting and instantly disconnected, tried via chat on community server and via contacts. Should i open some ports on router or?

When me and my friends try to screenshare, which is the main reason we want to swap over from discord. Sometimes the stream cannot even be viewed, it will be an endless connecting timer, but others in the same call may be able to see it instantly and watch it fine. this can happen with many and or not many people in the call all sharing and all trying to watch eachother. Or this happens with 2 people in the call.

Are teamspeak aware of this connection issue, is there a fix already or is it ongoing?

Could you provide a screenshot or a gif?
Does it show any error message?
Any errors in your log? (If you want to post the log, make sure to censor the IP adresses)

This may be an issue that could happen sometimes, but should not be a permanent issue.

Hello! I have the same problem. I understand that this only happens to some clients since I can see some of my friends, and not others :confused:. If you find a solution, could you comment on it? thanks in advance! :innocent:

make sure everyone participating synchronizes their clock in the settings.

I opened a server with my friends. They are all broadcasting without any problem, they can watch each other’s broadcasts. But I can open the broadcast without any problem, but none of them can access my broadcast. They see that I am broadcasting, they click on it. The loading screen comes and goes, then they can’t see my broadcast, but I can watch the broadcast open and without any problems. I would be very grateful if you can help me.

Please send me your logs in a DM so I can forward this internally.
