I’ve been tasked with making a server banner for my community’s new ts6 server and I can’t find any documentation on what the dimensions are suppose to be or what should be on it for teamspeak 6. I thought it was a background image that appears at the top of the server above the channels but am not sure. Any examples for ts6 or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Recommended banner size for TS6: 630x236
If you use this size, you don’t need to enable the “KEEP ASPECT RATIO” setting. -
Standard banner size for TS3: 921x236
If you use this size in TS6, you must enable the “KEEP ASPECT RATIO” setting for proper scaling.
Examples:
- 921x236 example:
- 630x236 example:
If you have a 921x236 image, you can still use it in TS6 by enabling “KEEP ASPECT RATIO” in your server settings. However, for the best compatibility, 630x236 is recommended.
Thankyou for posting all this! It is much appreciated. Hopefully this will help others who are new like me as well.
I got another ts6 noob questions for you. How does the owner of the teamspeak 6 community add the “modify virtual server host banner” to the server admin group so I can edit the server banner? XD
You need to set the Banner URL in the myTS dashboard.
If I didn’t create the community would I even be able the access it through the my TS dashboard? I tried to find it myself and had no luck.
For example: On a discord server, the owner gives admin role to the graphic artist and makes them do all the icons and server banner art stuff. Does teamspeak 6 have anything like that where you can just delegate another user to have the ability to edit all the art media, especially the server banner?
Everything can be changed from the TeamSpeak client itself, except the Banner which needs to be changed by the owner of the Community in the myTS dashboard.
