The server bans a user permanently with the reason “~PaXe” (which is the reason I usually enter when banning trolls and it just states that I banned them).
I asked a couple users if he was spamming them because he might have gotten a Anti-Flood ban maybe? But that wasn’t the case. Also complaint settings are set so you basically can’t get banned with “Autoban Count:” set to 999.
I checked the ip and I am pretty sure that he wasn’t connected via vpn.
This is what it says in ServerChat: “<16:25:18> “FeinsterKleister” was banned permanently from the server by “GamerStube TeamSpeak | Public TS | GamerStube.eu since 2013” (~PaXe)”
This is what it says in ServerLog: "07.11.2020 15:25:18 VirtualServerBase Info client disconnected ‘FeinsterKleister’(id:7201) reason ‘invokerid=0 invokername=server reasonmsg=~PaXe bantime=0’ "
This happened twice now where I noticed it. But this time I can’t even see the ban in the banlist (no ip/uid ban), and I don’t know the user so I can’t get him to test if he can connect. Last time the user was definitely banned and I think I was able to delete it from the banlist like any other ban.
I have a TeamSpeak server running on Debian Buster.
It currently is on version 1.12.1 and I think the last time I noticed it was on 1.12.0 (but not 100% sure).
So now the question is if any of you guys know what is going on.
Maybe the Server drew some connection to an already existing ban? But that wouldn’t make sense because the user has only been on for about 20 seconds. And last time it was a regular with easily over 1000h on the server.
I hope you guys can help me out here becuase I have no idea what is happening
