Server refuses to connect MariaDB, requires TLS/SSL to be trusted (beta9)

Hi!

My server was running fine before newest beta9 -patch, newest patch contained libtsdb_mariadb.so. I use MariaDB as db. After updating the server started to require TLS/SSL from my mariadb server. I created self signed certs for mariadb and tested that SSL worked fine with mysql cli. When I tried to start server it refused to start with error Could not connect to mariadb server: TLS/SSL error: Certificate verification failure: The certificate is NOT trusted

I couldn’t find any way to put client cert to server or to bypass cert trust or even tls/ssl requirement.

When I downgraded my server back to beta8 everything worked like a charm when I disabled tls/ssl requirement from server.

Mysql cli shows that SSL works fine:

I use TS6 Server with MariaDB, the lastest version doesnt work with MariaDB anymore (SSL is broken) how can I get the license to get my teamspeak up again without a new installation with sqlite?

@LeonMarcelHD

Check the “force SSL” issue with the MariaDB connection.

I’ve forwarded it.

Good morning everyone, I am writing to ask if there are any updates on the issue. I have an entire server down and I am unable to use it. Could you also provide a possible temporary solution? That would be great.

You can maybe use the workaround described here: MariaDB Connection not working · Issue #99 · teamspeak/teamspeak6-server · GitHub

But this isnt working for all environments. @LeonMarcelHD any updates or a date when we can expect a fix?

We are aiming for a release early next week.
