I keep getting this error " Disconnected from server (server version is too old for command)" every time i join one server only i dont get that error with any other server. Also all of my friends and other people can join that server but only i get that error so can you tell me why and help me fix it? Just curious if the server is outdated everyone shouldnt be able to join not only me but everyone except me is able to join.
Well, usually it means that the server version is too old. Your friends may also have an outdated client version and can therefore join the server.
If this is the case, the owner of the server should update his server to the latest version and your friends should update their client to the latest version.
Another possibility could be that the server has been modified.
23/04/2025 uptade got the same issue, all was working a week ago.
Apparently I’m not alone (+1000views on this post) thx for the ---- work teamspeak
Thanks for your friendly feedback. Would you please tell me which client and server version you are using?
Don’t work with ts5 Version: 6.0.0-beta2 work fine with Ts3 Client 64-bit 3.6.2
And the server version?
I don’t know
Can’t connect into the server, so I can’t see the version. I think it’s a security issue because on ts3 in can connect like the 200 others peoples. Is there a parameter in ts6 that I can modify?
No a server setting needs to be modified in this case.
In TS3 you can see the version as shown above in the screenshot
This version is from 2018 and should be updated.
So it is not our fault, rather the server owners fault.
- It’s working for +200 others peoples
- It’s working on ts3
- It was working a week ago
Answer “update the servers” maybe do something with the sh*t backward compatibility of ts6 ?
Could you please provide me with the IP address of the server?
That’s impressive how the server owner still can run a server in this version since the license for it would be expired a long time ago…
