Hi folks!
As you might know, there exist something known as TS5 (or New TeamSpeak) Client, which is currently in closed beta.
Some of you may have few questions about it, like
Why is it in closed beta?,
What's this forum?,
How can I get it?,
Where can I find beta key?
or
How and where to use it?.
I want to answer these questions once and for all. So, lets start with
Why is it in closed beta?.
TS5 (New TeamSpeak) Client is in closed beta just so there won’t be thousands emails describing the same problem/feature/etc.
More people means more emails, more emails means more time spent on reading them and more time spent reading them means less time to develop (even if support team and development team are two distinct teams, but you know they need to communicate what’s wrong).
What's this forum?.
To reduce problem described above, TS Staff created this new forum so that both devs and support can read about problems/features and either fix them, either add them to New Client.
The old forum is now read-only, mainly because cleaning it would be a pain in ***. Also this forum looks similar to new teamspeak.com and New Client.
How can I get it?.
If by ”it” you mean TS5 (New TeamSpeak) Client, you must have beta key.
Where can I find beta key?.
There were four ways, now there are two:
Apply for beta on teamspeak.com (unavailable).
Find someone who is willing to give you code (do not find them on forum as it wasn’t created for this and do not pay for it elsewhere).
Find one on TeamSpeak’s social media (they are mostly hidden in pictures and sometimes posted in plain text, but you must be fast, cause codes are one-time use).
Fourth way (which you might see in previous edits of this post) is not available. I’ve got official statement from TeamSpeak, so please do not try this one.
How and where to use it?
Go to beta.teamspeak.com, log in to your myTS account, paste your beta code, download client of your choice and voila. Just need to install it and you can use it.
Phew, this is a looong post.

As @Rikku informed me with this post: Is beta badge codes for TS5 still obtainable in any way? - #5, there’s currently no way to get beta codes from neither TeamSpeak’s twitter, nor Instagram.
We’ll need to wait for next registration wave.

Hello, so I was just wondering that if it is possible to “sign” to TS5 closed beta. My brother got an email from TS team that he’s in and he downloaded it. Is it random who gets it or only long time users of TS? And also if he would copy the TS5 to my PC? I’m just wondered.
Are you registered to the TeamSpeak 5 Beta Sign Up?
I dont know, if all beta keys have already been sent to all users right now.
If you haven’t registered for the TeamSpeak 5 beta, TeamSpeak will not send you a beta key. You can only get one if you look at TeamSpeak’s social media channels. But you have to be very fast, the keys are usually hidden in pictures.

You can only get access to Closed Beta if you signed up for closed Beta in 2018 and have received a Beta code.
If you didnt sign up back then your out of luck really untill open beta.
And you’re wrong cause everyone can get beta code from TeamSpeak’s social media, where they’re hidden and sometimes posted in plain text. It’s only necessary to be quick.

If you mean the Beta for TeamSpeak 3, you can select it in the options. (See the Screenshots.)
If you mean the Beta for TeamSpeak 5, you would need a Beta Key.
Hello to all. I am new here. I work for an IT and Telecommunication company and I wanted to ask, when a new Beta regsitration starts? I wrote with an employee of Teamspeak today and he said that there will be a new registration. Is there a specific date yet?
And I have a second question: I wanted to take part in the Beta but i messed up the registration (forgot it). Does someone have a key? Because I wanted to test the differences between Discord, Teams etc. and maybe the new Teamspeak can be a new solution in the Telecommunication section.
If you don’t have a key, that’s no problem. Then I will wait or maybe I will be lucky at the pictures where some numbers are missing

No, I haven´t. I just want to sign in for beta and I can´t find a sign in page!
The TeamSpeak Beta sign up is over. If you havent got a key, there is no way to sign in!

Hey guys
I am now a disappointed user of discord and being nostalgical of the old times where we could host our servers. I still come on teamspeak website once in a while to see if there’s something new and find out today that a new version of teamspeak was in closed beta testing.
I would be so thankful to obtain a badge code for this beta test, I have two dedicated servers running with ubuntu 18.04 and I want to test the future of gaming chat and I am tired of discord.
So please if a staff member pass by, is it possible to obtain a badge code ?

First off, read this.
Spoiling a bit, I haven’t seen public codes in a while, but maybe after you read that, you’ll understand and will know what to do. Just try.
Oh, and BTW, it’s not ”badge code” per se, but a code that allows you to download TS5 (New TS) Client. It may be impossible to get badge now as seen here, but some people got their badges after date said in the first post, so maybe…
