Sreensharing is not showing to others, but i still can see others screenshare; Time not synced

Hi,
I got a problem with screen share/camera share, I can share myself, but don’t see others streams, when they are starting the stream I can hear notification sound about stream, but can’t see it in chat. I’ve tried reinstalling and reboot, but didn’t help.

Link to solution:

Make sure your time is correctly synced and restart your client.

Almost same problem, but I can see the stream of one guy and he sees my streams, but I can’t watch/stream to abother 3rd person for some reason, just an endless connect to the stream. The second guy who I have no problems with can without problems watch and stream to the third person as well without problems, so I am confused.
The only thing that helped is me turning on a vpn, any idea what could be the cause?

Literally, when I start sharing the screen, it doesn’t appear to anyone, it’s as if I wasn’t sharing the screen, but when others share the screen I can see it perfectly

Try to resync your time on your computer. If the time is not accurate, the streams will not show up.

just out of curiosity, why is that?

If I recall correctly it has to do with session tokes and their expiration.

Theres a bug after popping out streams and then exiting the popped out window.

New people can then start streaming, but you won’t be able to click on their stream. It just won’t show up in the channel. You’ll need to reconnect to fix it.

Synchronizing the time helped, but the next day there was a blackout in my city, and when it came back, even though the time was correct, now I’M the one who can’t see my friends’ stream, they can see mine normally, theirs between each other, but I can’t see either one’s or the other’s

maybe he needs to sync now

The P2P broadcast crashes. I’m trying to stream the screen to my friends using a P2P stream, but it crashes every 1-2 minutes. I experimented with the quality and bitrate settings, it didn’t help. At the same time, I have a powerful PC, so it doesn’t look like the system is killing the streaming process on its own. I also tried to set up a stream between 2 machines on the same LAN connected by a router, and then the same situation occurred. My friends have this problem when they try to stream (we have different Internet service providers). Who knows how to solve this and what it might be related to?

What exactly happens?
Does the image freezes?
Is the stream no longer shown to other people?

For me the problem is that if i watch a friends screenshare it always just disappears to me after like a minute or two and i cant reopen it cause it is not shown anymore in the group chat. when it disappears the app sends a notification or so in that the icon in the taskbar gets highlighted. But for other friends the stream keeps shown
somehow

syncing time worked

No, it doesn’t freeze. Everything is fine on the source side of the stream, but for the viewers of the stream, the stream itself simply disappears, it does not freeze, but disappears.

Please have a look at my first reply:
