Thank you @SYOX for your feedback, I’m far away from being hater, as you already wrote it’s difficult to be in silence, I was sure that everything stopped, but you proved that I was wrong.
I hope that communication improves a bit, time to time if you give a small sneak peak it would be more than enough.
Thank you for taking the time to actually reply. This is all we’ve been asking for. Communication is very important, and it’s nice to see that someone finally stepped up to let us know that things aren’t truly dead. (I wish I had seen this earlier to be honest. It is definitely worthy of being an announcement on its own).
Please, keep letting us know you and the team are still alive, even if things do end up stalled. Something, anything telling us that you haven’t given up speaks volumes more than dead silence does, even if you don’t have any updates to give us. A simple “we’re still here and alive” goes a long way at instilling a sense of commitment and support to the community.
As for the social media, I understand the memes and attempts to keep people interacted, but the way it’s being done at a time of such uncertainty has definitely gone a bit too far. I doubt this is your area of control, but it would be nice to see some more professionalism added to the Twitter/X account’s posts, rather than just the blatant ****ting on Discord and Skype. It’s not really showcasing TeamSpeak well at this point, and is only adding fuel to the fire here on the forum. It’s really gone from friendly competition and teasing to straight up hatred and personal attacking. That doesn’t reflect TeamSpeak well as a community, nor as a company. If anything it will just run more dedicated users off.
Same here, sadly.
I run my own TS3-Server now for years, for our little gaming group (15-20 people) and we all are using more and more Discord, because we also like to play with other players outside of our closed group. So yeah, it felt that 90% are using now Discord and only a bunch remembers the good old glory golden times of TeamSpeak, but all miss features - Screensharing is by the way the most needed/wished feature, because you can show other players when you are stuck and need help or a hint.
Well because seeing is better as making a screenshot and sharing it on a thirdparty party.
Can we have a glimpse of an update from the devs, what we can expect in 2025?
With best regards
DK
