Where’s the changelog for 6.0.0-beta2?
Very good!
Hi!
Great work, this update is amazing. The new design takes some getting used to but feels more “teamspeak” than the “old” new design from TS5.
On Screenshare: I’m on Linux and noticed that Screenshare only appears to detect video Sources when using an X11 Session. (I’m using Arch Linux with KDE Plasma).
In X11 I can share my screen, using Wayland, which the Linux Desktop has been moving towards for a while now, I can’t.
Is support for wayland sessions planned? Or am I just missing some requirements for TS Screenshare to work under wayland?
Anyway, all in all this update was a huge surprise!
Keep up the great work guys.
My friends updated to 6.0.0-beta2, but my TS saying that it is updated (on ts5 same thing, I downloaded TS6 directly from site, because ts5 said that there is no updates
How to fix that?
Memory optimization is pretty much needed. also there is a bug where you sometimes try to stream and open the Settings tab for streaming, it just blurs out the whole screen and you gotta restart your client.
Please try pressing F5 once on your keyboard while in this view, it could be that it simply didn’t update the current state of the server.
Why does teamspeak blur itself when you hover the mouse over different parts? Does anyone else have this problem?
Are you planning to publish server’s file for arm64 ? So it could make it possible to self-host teamspeak on a Raspberry.
Why can’t I join my friend’s stream? I can go to everyone else, but not him. We have the same internet provider and maybe that’s the problem?
Is there any plans to bring this to self hosted? Us self hosters are still stuck on TS3 servers for some reason? If this is a paywall scenario I will be pretty upset as a long time user of Teamspeak.
I think it’s just a matter of time and they will be releasing the server version too
Did I understand correctly that in order to use screen sharing, you need to purchase a community plan?
Information regarding self-hosting with new the new server:
No, you can screen share in private chats, group chats, on public community servers found on your dashboard/in the server discovery, or on servers purchased via communities.
