When my friend is in our community server, He clicks the start stream button, gets the source screen but no matter what he chooses the second he clicks something the Teamspeak window instantly crashes and vanishes, we looked in the %appdata% folders for a log but it wont write one when it crashes or at least it doesn’t seem to
Anyone else have similar issue?

Hello, when I want to open a broadcast in Teamspeak group chat, the application closes.
Please explain what you mean. You may want to include a video or images to illustrate the problem.

In screen sharing, when I select any screen, the application closes directly. I can’t share the screen…

@Glitched4Twitch To further investigate the problem wen need clean logs from you.
Search in the search bar for Developer Tools (or if you’r client is not set to English you need to enter it translated)
Set the Log Level to trace
Could you please delete all content in your Log folder.
Folder location: %LocalAppData%\TeamSpeak\Logs\Default
Then start your client and share your screen.
Once your client has crashed please zip up all the log files and upload it to Drive or another file sharing service.
If you have concerns about posting your logs publicly you can send them to me in a DM.

help me, I can’t start the live broadcast, why does it immediately crash as soon as it starts? What’s the reason?

Just as a quick update:
The client needs at least the windows build 21H1.
A ticket is created to make sure that this is handled correctly and the user is informed.
We are using WebRTC for capturing and transmission.
For windows, the only requirement is a more-or-less recent windows 10 version (all windows 11 versions should be fine). More precisely:
Windows 10.0.19043 / 21H1 Update.
To my knowledge no vcredist is required. We don’t use Java.
For capturing, a runtime detection will chose a suiteable + compatible path for capturing. This considers DX, Windows Game Capture API and a more traditional Windows Screen Capture API.
