TeamSpeak American or German Company/Product?

I will start out by being sorry if this is too political, but I have not been able to figure an actual answer searching the net

This comment tells similar to what I have kind of figured elsewhere

https://community.teamspeak.com/t/how-can-i-call-someone/23672/35?u=fashdey

But I would like to know if I should consider Teamspeak a German product or an American Product - as I usually tell people it is German, but hard to be confident in that saying anymore when signs tells something else
E.g. Renting TS6 with USD, not having EUR as an option - and the only actual address I can find points to USA

Can someone clarify this a bit more to me?
(I have been on the ride since TS2 [yes 2])
And currently renting TS6 as that were the only “Support” option - Donations not existing

I’ll keep this a short as possible and only summarize public knowledge

TeamSpeak is not just one company, it is broken down actually into two separate entities.

→ TeamSpeak Systems, Inc. - Located in the USA, responsible for sales and is the public face of the company.

→ TeamSpeak Systems GmbH - Located in Germany, responsible for development and software engineering.

Offering multiple currencies for payment increases operational complexity and can lead to higher costs. It is just simply easier and more practical to operate with a single currency.

Thanks Leon, for keeping it simple

Not the answer I hoped for but still better than it could be
