Hi, I’m the server owner I purchased it yesterday from myteamspeak. But I can’t ban someone. It only says error
any help?
Have the same Issue.
It says Database Error
yes same and when I try to manually ban via Unique ID from client list it says “Please enter valid Unique ID”.
any update?
We’ve made some changes to communities, could you please try again and report back? If it still doesn’t work, please provide me your community name. Thanks!
On my paid community server, if I view the Client List, right click on somebody’s name, click “Ban”, then set a permanent ban, it doesn’t do anything. When I go to “Show Ban List”, it says there’s nothing there. I don’t understand why this wouldn’t work as a Server Admin, trying to ban a user that is set as Temp Guest.
Please provide your community name so the IT can have a look at this.
Sent in PM. Thanks!
Hi there, I’m just wondering if there is an update on this inability to ban users?
@jaden @Syndicat3 @shagless I’ve forwarded your Communities onto the Team. Please try again later today.
still unable to ban
I decided to test and see if it was possible for me to ban and I have the same issue saying “Database error”, I took a look into the permissions and it seems fine, guess it’s related to the server database which we don’t have access to it…
I am still having issues as well.
If I go to the “Client List”, right click a user, select “Ban”, set it to “Permanent”, and then “Ban from Server”, it doesn’t show up in the Ban List and it’s as if nothing happened:
If I create a manual ban with the UID, I get the following error:
There’s no Database for bans so you just cannot Guess someone forgot to implement that as well
The Team will look into this problem as soon as possible.
I have the same database error on my server when I attempt to add a mytsid=empty ban as I’ve used on self-hosted servers to require use of myts features on my server.
