TeamSpeak Community Database Error Upon Joining

When I attempt to join my Community that I pay for through myTeamSpeak, I get a “Database Error” and it prevents me from joining. 4 users connected successfully but multiple people are receiving this error.

I see other topics about this error, but I don’t know how to go about correcting it for my Community as I don’t own the backend.

How do I fix this problem?

hey there zuidy,

my community is experiencing the same issue at the moment. I’m keeping my eyes peeled for more information on my end as well.

Seems like mine is working again for now, I will update if that changes. Must have been some temporary issue.

Nice! Mine is not back up, but at least it means they’re probably working on things.
Thanks for the update

Getting the same issue on my community as well. given the price of the servers, you’d think they would at least announce when they are experiencing wide spread issues.

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue for several days now, and it appears to be affecting multiple users. Whenever I or others try to connect, we consistently receive a “database error.” On the rare occasion that the connection does succeed, it takes an unusually long time.

Previously, this issue occurred intermittently and would eventually resolve itself, but it has steadily worsened. Today, the problem has persisted without any signs of improvement.

We’re open to any solution at this point—even restarting or completely wiping the server and starting from scratch, as there’s nothing we need to retain on it.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Update, it fixed itself but after closing TeamSpeak and trying to connect again I am getting the same database error. Thanks @SYOX for your reply. Look forward to hearing more about this.

Same issues here, been acting up all day. Couldn’t even login to the forums earlier because of it as it was giving critical errors. It’s in the ny1 database. We need an easier way then just forums post tho long-term for this as the community can’t fix a server we aren’t even hosting ourselves in this case but that’s just my opinion.

My server is also in ny1.

Still not working. Has been broken for almost 24hrs now. Database error on NY1.

My community (ny1) is giving users this error as well. Some were able to wait a while before reconnecting, but some are still unable to connect.

I was also unable to delete or change the banner URL for my community, possibly unrelated but I haven’t noticed this until now.

Any advancements on the situation or ETA on TeamSpeak’s end?

We have disabled new community creations for the NYC-1 region due to a database issue identified in this region.

The majority of our team is not on duty due to a public holiday, but I will keep you updated as soon as new information is available. We are currently investigating the problem.

I suspended and tried to reactivate my community, but it seems to be stuck as “Suspending…” and also giving me the option to reactivate, which doesn’t do anything.

Thanks for the update and context

It seems to be back to normal now on my end, didn’t touch anything. Also a ny1 server

We have deployed a fix for the affected servers and reactivated the creation of communities in the NYC-1 region. If you are still experiencing issues, please let us know.
