TeamSpeak lady constantly repeating in background

As soon as I open TS3 (v-3.6.2_stable) and start a conversation with others on my channel I constantly hear. . .”user has left your channel, user in your channel timed out, user disconnected from your channel”. Usually there three or four of us on this channel and no one is performing the options repeated by the TeamSpeak lady.

First, please keep the wording respectful when describing the issue. Let’s call it the TeamSpeak lady, not the Bitchin’ Betty. A friendly and descriptive title makes it easier for others to help you.

Regarding the repeated announcements, please completely close TeamSpeak and start the client once in safe mode to rule out a faulty plugin:

ts3client_win64.exe -safemode

If the problem no longer occurs in safe mode, it’s most likely caused by one of your installed plugins. Start TeamSpeak normally, disable all plugins, and then enable them again one at a time until the announcements return. This should help you identify the responsible plugin.

Safe mode applies only to that particular session. To return to normal mode, simply close TeamSpeak completely and start it again using your usual shortcut, without the -safemode parameter.

If the issue continues in safe mode, open Tools → Options → Notifications and temporarily select Sounds deactivated as the sound pack. You can also disable the affected voice notifications individually in the same section.

If disabling the sound pack stops the repetition, try selecting the default sound pack again afterward. Please also check the Client Log while the problem occurs. This will show whether TeamSpeak is receiving genuine disconnect and timeout events or merely repeating the audio notifications.

Thanks for the reply. My reference to the _____Betty was hardly disrespectful, it refers to the female warnings used in military aircraft and seemed to fit this occurrence in TS but I’ll use TS Lady from here on out.

You speak of some installed “plugins” I’m not sure what you’re referring to there.

By “plugins,” I mean optional add-ons loaded by the TeamSpeak 3 client. Some may have been installed manually, while others can be included within the client. You can see them under Tools → Options → Addons.

You don’t need to know whether any plugins are installed before performing the safe-mode test. Safe mode temporarily prevents plugins and other add-ons from loading. If the repeated announcements disappear in safe mode, something loaded by the normal client installation is most likely causing the issue.

If the problem still occurs in safe mode, plugins are probably not responsible. In that case, please try the other suggestions from my previous reply.
