Kind of ironic how a communication service is bad a communication. ![]()
That aside, you acknowledge there’s issues due to being a small team. So who decided that putting up a big campaign claiming to be the discord killer with your next release was a good idea, when things weren’t even half finished?
On the subject that you do listen and read posts, I sincerely doubt that. There’s been an issue with the codec producing a “pop” sound ever since the release of 3.6.0 and onward. Having many still on 3.5.6 because that version doesn’t produce that.
For 2 years already this has been an issue that is obviously being ignored: 3.6.0 – Sound peaking problem
None of you have participated in that topic, actively trying to find what’s causing that for almost 2 years now.
So you claim you do listen and read every comment but this proofs the opposite.
On the subject of holding the server files, I also think it’s a bad excuse to hold it back just because of a change in the file transfer system. You’re hoping that the longer you delay, the more people will cave for your new subscription service. There’s NO reason to hold back the release of the server files just because a single (not important) feature is being changed. Why can’t that be done with an update? Seems rather odd…
When I met you guys on Gamescom in 2018 everyone seemed such a nice bunch and down to earth, but it feels like that has been lost in the pursuit of trying to beat Discord.
Don’t try to beat them, don’t try to be like them. Stand out on your own thing. The people still using TS will remain and support you no matter what, right now you’re alienating these loyal fans…
