TS6-beta2 Client does not start

I don’t have any further troubleshooting steps to suggest at this point. My recommendation would be to wait for the next beta release and check whether the issue persists.

It could be related to a compatibility problem in CEF, which has been updated for the upcoming release.

Hello,

When I try to run Teamspeak I get half a second of loading before the app is suspended with no error logs or messages. Any ideas on how to figure out whats going wrong? I’ve updated all my drivers and from windows 10 to 11.

When I attempt to run Teamspeak I get this message in the “cef” text file found in /Appdata/Local/Teamspeak/Logs/Default:

[6704:3288:0928/181552.555:WARNING:chrome_main_delegate.cc(747)] This is Chrome version 130.0.6723.117 (not a warning)
[8836:10932:0928/181552.680:WARNING:viz_main_impl.cc(85)] VizNullHypothesis is disabled (not a warning)

I’ve pretty much done everything mentioned in this thread. But, nothing has fixed my problem. Any update on this?

Windows Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.4317)

Teamspeak Version 5.0.0.3273

Thanks!

Do you have any other logs in your folder?

Have you tried the --cpa=“Test” parameter?

The –cpa=”Test” does nothing.

In /AppData/Local/Teamspeak/Logs/Test I find four txt documents:

“ts5client_2025-09-29_12-34” - empty

“tschat_err” - empty

“tschat” - [2025-09-29 12:34:25.285] [info] TSBindingBrowserTSChat ctor
[2025-09-29 12:34:25.286] [info] TSChat library version: 1

“cef” - [1108:7796:0929/123425.207:WARNING:chrome_main_delegate.cc(747)] This is Chrome version 130.0.6723.117 (not a warning)
[6300:13052:0929/123425.378:WARNING:viz_main_impl.cc(85)] VizNullHypothesis is disabled (not a warning)

I also get a .dmp file found in /Teamspeak/User Data/Crashpad/reports, found here: TeamSpeak Crashpad - Google Drive

Thank you for your help!

I’ve forwarded the crash dump to our devs to have a look at. This may take some time, but I’ll report back when I have new information.
