TS6 Group Chat API / Bot Support – any plans?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently exploring the possibility of building a Telegram ↔ TS6 group chat bridge and ran into a wall regarding the API.

After some network analysis I can see that TS6 group chats communicate via chat.teamspeak.com, but I couldn’t find any public API documentation. I also checked for Matrix SRV records (_matrix._tcp.teamspeak.com) since there were rumors about TS6 using the Matrix protocol, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

My questions:

  1. Is there an official (or planned) public API for TS6 group chats?
  2. Is a bot/integration system planned similar to Discord’s bot API?
  3. Are there any developer resources or early access programs?

I’d really appreciate any info – even a rough roadmap would help me decide whether to wait or look for alternatives.

Although the chat is based on Matrix, we currently do not endorse or provide official guidance on creating chatbots.

Due to custom implementations, we are not aligned with the Matrix spec, so I can only advise against using any important myTS accounts that could be unrecoverable.
