Hello TS Support,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue connecting to a community server: gay.fra2.teamspeak.com. The client rejects my connection as if the server is full, even though the password is correct and the server shows available slots.
Symptoms:
-
Server limit: 4 slots (shows 3/4 occupied, rejects 4th connection)
-
Password is correct, simple, no symbols/caps
-
TS6 client loops on “connecting” → “password required” without ever completing the handshake
-
Error log snippet:
[error] isInitDone: Didn't find connection for id 4
Steps already taken:
-
Full TS6 reinstall (MSI installer)
-
Cleared
%LOCALAPPDATA%\TS6Client -
Created multiple new identities
-
Tried VPN
-
Verified password works from other accounts / devices
-
Restarted client, Windows, and network
Diagnosis (my observation):
-
Seems like a client-server handshake/session desync — connection fails before password validation.
-
Possible “phantom slot” occupancy on server side due to TS6 crash/disconnects.
Request:
-
Guidance on fully clearing TS6 handshake/session cache
-
Any server-side checks or fixes for phantom slot/session rejection
-
Confirmation if this is a known TS6 client-server issue
Logs and screenshots are available if needed. Thanks in advance for any advice!
