Hi everyone! I built TS6 Per-User Volume Unlock, an unofficial local addon for people who need more control over individual users’ voice volume in TeamSpeak 6.
What it adds
- Extends the existing Change Volume slider beyond its stock +10 dB boost range.
- Adds a Current volume (dB) field for precise adjustments in 0.5 dB steps.
- Lets you choose a shared Maximum boost for the slider from +10 to +37.5 dB (default: +30 dB). Changing this limit does not change anyone’s current volume.
Compatibility: Tested on TeamSpeak 6.0.0-beta4.1, Windows x64. This addon relies on undocumented client internals, so a future TeamSpeak update may require a new build.
Installation options
- One-click package: includes the UI addon and native gain patches. Extract the ZIP and run Install-Volume-Unlock.cmd. The installer backs up the affected files and stops if the client version or file hashes do not match beta4.1.
- UI-only package: install with TS6AddonInstaller 3.8.0 or later. This gives you the extended controls, but TeamSpeak’s native +30 dB gain limit remains.

A higher setting does not always mean the same increase in audible output: later audio processing may reduce the gain. Please start at a low headphone or speaker level when testing high boosts.
Feedback and bug reporTS are welcome here or on GitHub. If this helps you, a
on the repository would make the project easier for others to find. Thanks!
