Unable to create channels on TS6 - Failed on i_channel_create_modify_with_codec_latency_factor_min

I’m using TeamSpeak version 6.0.0-beta3.4 and I’m unable to create channels on server, my friend who have the same permissions on the server just as I do but use older TeamSpeak versions are able to create channels without being admins.

When I try to create channels the following error occurs: “Insufficient permissions
Failed on i_channel_create_modify_with_codec_latency_factor_min“ and “ An error occurred
insufficient client permissions“.

Can you tell me:

  • Which client version they are using
  • What server version is used
  • and what the value of the permission (i_channel_create_modify_with_codec_latency_factor_min) is set to

  • Which client version they are using: My friends are using TeamSpeak 3 (old version with white background).
  • What server version is used: I believe its going to be: 3.13.7 • Linux
  • and what the value of the permission: I’m not sure how to find this

You’ll need to go into the permission settings and check the groups you and your friend have assigned to. And search for that permission.
