Unable to decrypt data

hello i get this error and i dont know why

  1. You can click the notification or there should be a yellow exclamation mark that you can do a right click.

These will open a new window asking you to enter the recovery key or the Fallback button. This Fallback option will erase the information currently in your myTeamSpeak account but will allow you to use the same email address/account for further use. Simply re-input the lost information. Unfortunately this is the only course of action once you have lost your key.

  1. At the bottom right of the client choose Restore Recovery Key.

If you have the recovery key saved in a file from when you made your myTeamSpeak account you can use it here. Or you will be using the Fallback option.

This Fallback option will erase the information currently in your myTeamSpeak account but will allow you to use the same email address/account for further use. Simply re-input the lost information. Unfortunately this is the only course of action once you have lost your key.

It looks like you did reset your password and did not enter your recovery key yet.
Your are in a state where client uses cache but does not get information from account.

Please enter the key. You should get an error when you start the client or see error icons on the status bar of the client. Both open the dialog.

Or use Fallback in case you do not have the key. But beware you will loose all synced data (Bookmarks, identities and hotkeys in case the current client does not have them in cache!!

but where is my reovery key? and where can i do the Fallback?

You got the recovery the first time you logged in with your account into the client.
You can not get a new one after you did reset your password. You must still have it or use Fallback then.

You enter it by clicking booth mentioned areas.

Hello guys!
I have a little problem when I try to connect to the teamspeak account
This appears to me in chat after I connect to a server:

How can i solve?
I reset my password but it still doesn’t work

Does not mean that you are not logged in. Could also be a server error.

Please show us at least a client log.

You did reset your password as you wrote but did not enter the recovery key yet or did a fallback yet. This leaves your client (account in a state where you are logged in but all features are disabled until you resolve the issue.

I seem to have lost all the pictures in the rooms of my team speak which have been replaced by a red circle with a line going through it. my notification centre is saying the following,

apply encryption back up key

All fine and dandy but wtf is this key? Where do I get it? How do I apply it?

TeamSpeak is far too complicated for the self taught non IT person (you know, Joe Public).

Can anyone help me before I throw a beer glass at my computer screen?

When I was on a server, I suddenly could not hear or speak anymore. I then got the notification to enter my reset code PIN. I didnt know it and clicked it away. But I still wasnt able to hear or speak. I even logged in and out in my account and also created a new reset key but somehow I didnt find a place to fill it in. Please help me, because at the moment and I am only able to join servers, but not to talk or hear a thing. Some options are force disabled and the cloud on the bottom right corner says `disconnected´. I would highly appreciate any help

when I connect to the server, I get the message:

I am logged in to myteamspeak (on the website and the client) but there is nothing I can do. I want some “recovery key” that I don’t have because I have a new computer I bought a few days ago.

By clicking on the “New Spare Key” options, nothing happens.

Can someone help me somehow?

If you no longer have your old recovery key, you will need to perform a fallback. Only then you can generate a new one.

Note: Your old encrypted data will be lost.
