What does "Currently unable to decrypt message - Waiting for keys" mean?

Hello, as someone has written me a message I systematically receive this error

Your myTS account does not have the key stored to encrypt the message.
If its a direct chat, then @tatayer must come online and his client will share the key with you. This happens automatically then.

If this is a group chat, then anybody who got the key will send it to you.

Hello,

While using TeamSpeak’s newest client, my messages don’t seem to be updating in DMs, or group chats. Others screenshot our messages and can see everyone’s messages, but I’m not able to see anything new.

I am also seeing an error for my messages: “Waiting for keys“

Since you’ve enabled End to End encryption, you will now need to wait till your friends are back online, so their client can provide the key to decrypt their message.

The key exchange is the crucial part of E2EE where devices exchange cryptographic keys to encrypt and decrypt the messages.

Hello, Leon. I appreciate the help.

While this was occurring, all of my friends and I were online and within the same chat. This persisted in both group chats and direct messages.

To reiterate, We were all within the same group-chat and in a voice channel together. They all could see my message in the chat, but I couldn’t see any of theirs.

Since posting, we all haven’t been within the same chat to check if I can see new messages, but one set of direct messages has populated.
