Window selection window does not open, background stays only blurred

Hey, when I click “Start Stream” in TeamSpeak 6 on my local server or in a group chat, I just get a blurry client window with no options to choose from.

I’ve checked the logs, but no message is triggered when I click “Start Stream.”

So the popup window where you select the source doesnt Show up?

It’s only a wild guess but you can look in the logs of your anti Virus Software (if youre using one) or in Windows defender Maybe something gets blocked

Thanks, I think the Firewall was the issue, somehow? I deactivated my Defender + Firewall, restarted Teamspeak and then I could select the streaming resource.

But after that I activated my Defender + Firewall again, restarted teamspeak and it was still working.

That certainly sounds very strange.

It’s also entirely possible that simply restarting TeamSpeak itself solved the problem. But it could also be that disabling Defender allowed some dependencies to load that are only needed once. Or maybe a registry entry was created then. (As we all know, that’s always hard to track down in Windows :D)

But that’s really just a wild guess (please don’t hold me to it)—but I’m glad it’s finally working.
