Working at TeamSpeak?

Hi there! I’ve been a TeamSpeak fan for quite a while but can’t lie when I say I use Discord every day because of my friends not wanting to try other things, but since I have a Raspberry Pi 5 I wanted to come back and see what was new around here and saw the TeamSpeak 6 update which is awesome! This has improved TeamSpeak a lot since the last time I used it (5 Client) and tried to setup my Pi as a server.

The point of this post is to ask the guys who work there: Are there any open roles? I’m a Full Stack (Frontend focused) Engineer with wide experience using React and Node, which I know JS/TS is far from performant as what TeamSpeak does in C/C++ but I wonder if the client(s) will eventually move to a Electron/Tauri/Electrobun app to ship faster while using widely adopted tools or create an ecosystem around what already exists for TeamSpeak but within Node.js.

Also, there’s a lot of room for improvement on the client regarding accessibility and UI/UX, which is also why I mentioned React, which could handle better these behaviors

Happy to hear from the TeamSpeak staff!

Hey there,

We don’t have any open roles right now, and we’re not actively hiring. I’ll still pass your message along to the team, but I obviously can’t promise anything will come out of it.

If we ever do have openings, we’ll post them here in the forum and on social media. You can also keep an eye on our Careers Page or LinkedIn.

Thanks for your interest anyway!
