Alpha Testing?

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for?
    Since 2016

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
    Windows 10

  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Sometimes I jump in a conversation with some friends, but I’m not the server owner.

  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
    2-3

  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Webcams and possibly screen sharing. That would be a huge move forward

I would love to be an Alpha tester for TS5. I believe TS to be superior to the competition (e.g. Discord, though it can do different things ultimately)

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

since 2013

  1. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

Windows 10 and MacOS

  1. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

I am a server owner and active user

  1. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

  1. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

Better user / community management within a server, with better role management (admins etc.), the ability to create and manage a community tied to a TS server would be fantastic.

I would like to be an Alpha Tester as I do testing and troubleshooting in my job and I always have a lot of fun doing this. I am supporting TS since its existence over the competition. I believe that we need a simple voice, text and mediashare system for gamers and other communities but with most offers it is lacking in privacy. I think TS can offer this privacy.

  1. Many years. I got hands on TS 1.5 in 2001 but was mainly using TS 2 back in that time, when it came out. So I guess 18 - 20 years now?
  2. Windows and Linux
  3. I am a server owner. We run a Twitch and gaming community and therefore coordinate our gameplay using TS.
  4. I would rate myself as a 4. I know how to run a server, update, install and debug all of that. However I don’t program any plugins etc. for TS.
  5. TS really needs decentralised text-only channels and a multiserver interface with community management compared to other vendors, to be able to grow. The decision for Matrix is a good start there. People nowadays want it as simple as possible and connect to multiple servers at the same time with persistant connections.
  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
–> Started using TS on LAN-parties around 2003 and for online compo’s for Battlefield 1942

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
    –> Windows 10, Fedora 34, RedHat 8.3

  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
–> I have a server locally installed on RedHat 8.3.
Atm it is not frequently used.

  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
    –> 2

  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
    –> not atm.

Hello

Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

  • I have been using teamspeak every day for 5 years

What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

  • Windows 10

Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

  • I currently own a server that has been active for 4 years now.

On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

  • 5

Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

  • The thing that I think is missing is the ability to increase the customization in the channel descriptions (BBCode)

It would be a great honor for me to be an alpha tester.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

  • Continuously since 2011.

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

  • Windows 10 and Android.

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

  • I own a server since 2013 and have managed several servers since then.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

  • 4 to 5. Since the beginning I have dealt with the extended rights system, generally I always looked at all possibilities on the server settings and also clientside stuff. I programmed several server queries and wrote some smaller extensions for myself.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

  • Maybe something like screensharing or videocall.

Hi there,

as you may expect, I’m interested in joining the Alpha Version Testing of Teamspeak.

  1. I’m using Teamspeak since around 2012/2013 mostly as a voicechat for games or general chatting.

  2. The OS currently running is Windows 10, but I have a few old PCs willing to run Linux.

  3. Have been a Server Owner several times, most of them ended because not enough users (normally around 5-10 users at peak). At the moment Teamspeak is my main program for chatting.

  4. I’d say a 3.5. Teamspeak Servers have a massive amount of options - user rights administration to be exact, I know a good amount of them, but by far not all. As A User it is similiar, there is still a good amount of features I’m not aware of. Like mass moving being implented out of the box.

  5. Global Pokes. Just like sending a message to an offline user, but if he is on another server he would still get the message or when he opens Teamspeak, even when the user is not connected to the Server.
Or maybe an Web Version to use.

Few things about myself.
Existing since 2000. Playing Games since 2003 (Moorhuhn). Currently working in IT and from Germany.

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
    2013/2014
  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 10 for self usage and server hosting.
    IOS version
  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I do both, host and use TS
  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
    4-5 I guess.
  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
I would like to see channel rights based on rankes instead of numbers. For example that you can
join only if you have the right rank.
Also screen sharing. I find that very usefull to be honest.
And last but not least: I’ve got so much space in TS5 under my servers, that I would like to use that
for the server events. So that no space is wasted for me.
  1. Since 2010 using Teamspeak
  2. Currently using Windows and sometimes iOS
  3. Server Owner and run my own Server with NPL License.
  4. I think My Score is 5 because im Hosting Server and helps many Friends at this.

First of all, let me introduce myself briefly:
My name is Moritz, I’m currently 18 years old and I’m from Germany. I use TeamSpeak almost every day for several hours.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’ve been using TeamSpeak for over 4 years now and the TeamSpeak 5 beta for 1.5 of those years.

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
My clients run on Windows 10 and Android (Currently still Android 9)
My servers used to run on Debian 8/9/10 and Ubuntu 14/16/18 (We have changed often)

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I host now since February 2017 own servers, on which I also have a sophisticated rights system and with self-written query bots have automated the most diverse functions. In addition, I also offer my own music bots where I have programmed many of my own functions (Since I do not want to make any advertising, I do not say the name of our bot).
Furthermore, we had changed our TeamSpeak data to MySQL about 2 to 3 years ago. But this we have changed since about 2 years again.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
I think I can certainly still learn a thing or two, but still my know-how is a good 4

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
I think for anyone who uses TeamSpeak, there are quite a few things that you would like to see added. My biggest wishes at the moment are a screen sharing option, chat channels and plugin integration in TS 5. These are features I would like to see because I will definitely use them a lot. For example, since I often have to give users support for our bots, screen sharing directly in TeamSpeak would sometimes make things easier. On the other hand, I would like TeamSpeak to be more competitive with other voice platforms like Discord, because I am a convinced TeamSpeak user, but many of my friends are switching to Discord more and more because they lack such features.

I think I have said the most important things now and of course I hope that I can be one of the lucky ones who can support you in the further development of TeamSpeak.

Hi Team here is my candidature

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
Using TS3 since 2011, testing TS5 since few weeks

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Actually Windows 10 family ed. latest release 20H2

  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture
    of the prior?
No server owned, I made a little bit administration in gaming community

  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score
    your technical knowledge on TS?
-=3=- I handle basic options and settings but I did not yet really used advanced options in editing parameters for server

  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently,
what would it be and why?

One thing ? P2P secured share files system betwin 2 users, no need to drop it into server.
Overlay display on screen , If you just have one screen, no need to Alt+Tab .
I do not use overwolf, do not correspond to my need.
ScreenSharing is a good thing to add too.

And in the future, working with intel / Nvidia / AMD could be a good thing.
I was speaking about screen sharing and oberlay integration, I have already FPS counter with
Nvidia GeForce panel overlay, it could be great to integrate TeamSpeak into.
it could be a great kick in the discord’s ■■■ :yum:

Even my candidature is not interesting, what do you think about my propositions ?

Thanks for reading

Cool Thing is a pinwall and calendar for every channel and/or specific roles. The easiest way for a huge Communityserver with many workers in the background is a good Structure. A calendar is very helpfull. And if this autmacally remind you its defenetelly better.
