- 5/6 yeas, i think
- Win 10
- Using TS everyday
- About 3/4, i would say
- A Watch together feature for Vids or Streams would be awesome
I would love to have a chance to alpha test!
- Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
For, approximately, 3 years. Been running the beta since the beginning , and TS5 beta for the last 8 months.
-
What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 10 Business / Pro -
Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Active, and have my own private server to mess around with sysops. -
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
I’d rate myself a 3.5/4. There’s always more to learn. -
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
This is purely on the mobile application side, but the ability to search for users in the server. Otherwise on the PC side of things; screensharing.

Since 2011
What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 10 insider 20H2 64bit
Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Active user, co-server-owner
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
3, sometimes still get confused by permission system
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Performance mode, maybe something that disables fancy GUI elements to save on CPU cycles and RAM. Although almost all of my friends who I convince to come from discord seem to want screen-sharing
Hey there, I’d be happy to join the alpha team!
Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I first started using TeamSpeak 3 in 2012.
What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I’m running Windows 10 version 2009.
Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Server owner (self hosted on Ubuntu 20.04) as well as an active user.
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
4 - since I haven’t used the plugin SDK yet but I’ve set up multiple servers with advanced permissions on Windows and Linux.
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
A redesigned phone app with the same features the desktop client has and the ability for screen sharing.
Have a nice day everyone
Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’d guess for at least 8 Years could definitely be more but I’m not sure.
What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I’m using the TS5 Beta on Win10 and the latest server on ubuntu 18.04
Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I am a server owner and also actively use the client daily.
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
If we exclude the server query I’d say 5, I have used the server query but not much
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Tough question but screen sharing would be awesome, me and my friends currently use AnyDesk for this.
Sometimes it’s just really handy to quickly share your screen like in MS Teams when you’re discussing something and want to show your colleague a specific line of code.
Though the question would be if this feature should be peer to peer or client/server.
I think both have their Pro’s and Con’s and I would suggest that the Server Owner can configure if Screen sharing via client/server is allowed or not (ServerGroup Permissions)
Otherwise, I have probably thought about some features over the years but none I currently have on top of my mind

Since 2012/2013 - What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows / linux (Debian) - Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Server Owner and Active User - On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
4 - Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
In addition to adding the usual things such as a screen sharing system, a web version of the client, better management of the chat from the point of view of the links, the possibility of using the chat server in the same way as that of MyTeamspeak and etc, which would attract certainly many users.
Add a license totally dedicated to communities that show they want to seriously use Teamspeak for their development, perhaps especially to those that have existed for a few years. This is because, in my opinion, one of the biggest problems of Teamspeak at the moment is the great difficulty for the communities to obtain a free license. This is a huge problem because many of them cannot afford to pay for a license and very often fail to obtain a sponsor License, as it is not meant for communities but more for activities that in one way or another can. afford the purchase, leading many server managers to abandon the platform, to go towards one that certainly has a lower quality, but which does not involve high management costs.
Also I would add a version of Teamspeak designed for vr (oculus, steam vr), simply because no competitor has developed one. This would certainly bring a lot of attention from VR users to the Teamspeak platform.

What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Usually windows, but when I use teamspeak for work I use debian -

On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
4 -
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
I think ts needs some bulletin board-style text channels where you can write and receive messages without necessarily being in a channel.
Another thing I think ts should release is the ability to screen share. One thing missing is the integration with some apps as well.
-
Started using it in 2018, actively switched in mid-2019.
-
Windows 10 & Android ( time to time Ubuntu 18.04 / Debian 9 )
-
I have my own server, but I cannot say that I am an active user.
I do not participate in the life of the community, I just use it to communicate with friends. -
I did not deal with the development of extensions. I only changed some of the values in exist extensions for myself. (1)
** I don’t think I understood the question correctly.* -
Screen sharing! But not just like in the same skype or discord, but with the ability to choose an encoder, for example QSV or HVENC.
Not all have a powerful cpu for similar tasks ( me XD ).
Why not use idle cpu graphics in a laptop for such tasks?
For example, in OBS this opportunity saves, but it is not always convenient to start a stream to just show the screen to a friend.

TeamSpeak 3 since 2014 and a regular user all the time.
What operating system are you currently using?
Currently, I mainly use Windows 10
Are you currently the server owner, an active user (but not your own), an inactive user, or a mixture of the previous one?
Server owner and active user
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest), how would you rate your technical knowledge of TS?
4 I hope so after these years! I ran over a dozen public and private servers for friends
Optional question - if you could add something that is not currently in TS, what would it be and why?
For me, screen sharing is a very nice option and would help a lot of people
1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
- Since about 2012 to 2013. Had owned my own server at one point back then and had helped with a few servers aswell.
2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
- Currently running the latest version of Windows 10
3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
- Not exactly a current server owner. The group I am apart of still has a server so I use that as a test place since nobody is using it currently. But previously I have owned and developed my own servers.
4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
- I would give it a solid 4 to a 4.5. There is some stuff that I’m not experience with just since I had no reason to use it but for the most part I would consider myself a very experienced user.
5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
- Things I would add: IRC based chat system, the ability to view the server without actively being in a channel, and external integration such as YouTube/twitch/Spotify/Twitter/etc.
- Since 2013
- Windows 10 and IOS
- Been server owner for 5 years and active user
- I’d say 4, good with old permission system for users, channels and server.
- Music User/bot, free servers and screen sharing/streaming
Hope to become a tester! been the only one out my group to avoid DC haha
Hello ! I want to join the Alpha.

I use Teamspeak since 2015 (Teamspeak 3) but I am now using Teamspeak 5 since January.
- What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I use Teamspeak on Android (phone) and Linux (Ubuntu Studio) on my computer
- Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I use Teamspeak every day, (trying to find a bug to get the badge). I use it to chat and talk on my favorite servers. So I am an active user.
- On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
I think 3 I have used Teampeak a lot but I never own a server.
- Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
5)I think I will add the screen sharing. Teamspeak is used by a lot of gamers, so the screen sharing will be very useful. The next feature I could add is only on Linux. It is the possiblility to change the profil pic. I think it is a normal thing to change our profile pic on any OS. The last feature is free servers.

The ability to join through a browser. As it allows quick and uncomplicated TeamSpeak use. From there it can have the ability to retain users through download links to Windows & Android.
-
Users want comfortability when using software, and providing them a soft landing platform for them to explore TeamSpeak would be crucial for them to move onto using advanced features in the native TeamSpeak apps.
