So I’m trying to upload icons 16x16 png format but it says they are too big in size (limit would be 8x8 I believe). I remember there was a setting in server group permission to increase the size but can’t find it now. How can I solve this issue thanks
what you need is i_max_icon_filesize
I suggest you use a higher resolution 
exemple: we use 64x64 , but there are those who use even higher resolutions.
the point is that 64x64 resolution looks nice and sharp on each platform
(or use svg)
Where can i find i_max_icon_filesize?
I know in the older version you could change it through server group permissions tab, now I can’t find it.
It’s still there when advanced permissions are enabled in client. Just enter it into the filter when you do not see permission names.

Hello I have problems to equip the Ts with icons. Transfer port is on the server but the icons cannot be uploaded. Upload and download is all at -1. Have you added the server file attached below to a separate server because it just doesn’t work on the one server? Domain: KiruCity.net Please help

Permission i_max_icon_filesize is not set in your group or value is 0.
The number in value stands for bytes (8192 is default for 8KiB).
For unrestricted usage, set it to -1
Note: if you are using a TeamSpeak Community, you’ll need to edit this permission for the Server Admin Group and assign it to yourself.

Hi, I’m trying to upload icons onto server groups. In the past I haven’t had any problems with this but all of a sudden it’s saying the maximum icon file size is 0kb. I have tried uploading icons I have already uploaded successfully too and it says the same thing when I do that. I have tried doing it for different server groups, that doesn’t change anything. I have the “Icon Max Filesize” set to -1.
It would be great to get some help. It’s my first time here so very sorry if I have posted this to the wrong place.

You Sir don’t got permission ‘i_max_icon_filesize’ set or set but with a value of 0 (which is in bytes and 8192 as default value).
The permission must be added or it’s value changed in your server group.

Already upload file and no see loading and no cant upload image. Is bug beta actual update or server problem?
Uploading icons works fine for me.
Check your port forwarding on the network and that icons are not bigger than 8 KiB.
Or raise the value on permission i_max_icon_filesize from 8192 Bytes to a bigger value.
The only issue i see is that there is no error feedback when upload failed for various reasons.

I’d like to know the dimensions of the channel logo for TS5. I’ve been using a 16x16 image size for the channel logo, but it’s too blurry. I’d like to know what dimensions are used for both channel and room logos.
You can use images which are bigger than 32x32 or 128x128 or an svg.
The images are scaled down or up if needed.

I wonder, then, what is the reason that I cannot upload a logo larger than 64x64, and provided that it does not weigh more than 10 KB, it also applies to the icons on the channels.
The problem is solved, I need to check the rights i_max_icon_filesize 999999 and b_icon_manage in the server admin, and only after that I was able to upload icons to PNG even in 512x512 resolution.
It’s just a pity that the channel icons are very small, there’s not really anything you can’t see normally, so if they were enlarged a little bit, it would be good.
you can use -1 instead of 9999999. -1 is unlimited
The strangest thing is that it didn’t affect anything.
That’s why I set this value.
