Changing account password

I am trying to change my account password but having issues. I am logging in with firefox on windows 11, also tried chrome. I know my current pass, I login with no issues and go to the change pass page, enter my current pass and new pass in both boxes and made sure they are both the same. When I click the change password button, it will say processing and nothing ever happens. I let it sit there doing that for several minutes and nothing ever happens, no type of message comes up. Same thing happens on chrome. Is there a length limit for the pass?
