I have tried using the Teamspeak 6 Client but cannot connect to the Chat servers. I tried switching to different accounts and it worked there flawlessly, so my guess is, the servers did not setup my account correctly and deny the connection…

Client is up to date, i tried deleting cache and logs multiple times, restarted, relogged, even deleted the UserData folder, nothing helped. As said, other accounts work great.

This is one of many tries of the client to initialize the connection:

Oh yea, sorry. I was only looking in the forum for the new client, not the general one :see_no_evil:

Help please

@Lococrazzy Hope this will help you.

Receiving this error for 2 days now, out of nowhere:

I omitted some of the data in logs (namely, the big base64 chunks) just in case they’re client secrets or something.

Is this also part of the issue in the OP? For me it doesn’t say server gone but http 504 (gateway timeout)

I tried doing this, but the error continues.

I have the same problem. clearing cache doesnt help

Same trouble regardless of device used, network configuration/IP address or PC used to log in with. I’ve tried clearing everything in ~/.cache/Teamspeak as well to no avail. This seems to be an account issue.

Reporting here just in case!

@alex123 @quake_1337 @Lococrazzy @leomard

The issue should be resolved now. The chat-1.tmspk.net matrix instance was offline / had a downtime.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Currently at ‘connecting’ status still after clearing ~/.cache/Teamspeak but haven’t reinstalled the program yet. I’ll give it a little time and take a walk before trying again.

Still down. Saw the above post edit, watching intently; thanks for helping us!!!

Now it should be resolved.

Visiting the URL manually in the browser yields a 503…

TS6 client still has issues connecting to it…

and TS6 logs appear to still receive a gateway timeout

[2025-04-07 18:13:24.483] [warning] TSChat_Connect failed: invalid status code: 504
[2025-04-07 18:13:24.483] [error] Connection failed: err=1

unless it’s cloudflare caching being funny

Several times actually!

And right as I was typing the reply, it managed to connect, so problem is solved, should’ve waited 60 more seconds before posting hahaha

I have tried watching a video on how to fix this, I tried resetting my network, I resetted my PC multiple times, I synced my time, and when I do see my friends and my servers, it turns out I am the only one who is online, but on my friends end they see that I am the only one offline. It just keeps trying to reconnect to my internet, but nothing happens. I have also uninstalled Teamspeak and reinstalled it, but nothing changed. What do I do?

Do you currently still experience this issue? We’ve had a small downtime yesterday with one of the chat services.

No, I think I fixed it, but sometimes my friends appear offline and online, but besides that, there is no issue with streaming or chatting.

Is it possible that they are set to offline in the bottom left corner? Sometimes the online indicator can be not accurate, but we’ll have a pending fix for that coming.
