Encrypted chat not working

i have two accounts. one of the two, no one can decrypt text chat coming from that account anymore. that means that my server group chat, and any private chats coming from that server admin that are encrypted, are un-readable. the account that owns the server and group chats , this account, … is the one that no one is able to read any more.

i have tried uninstalling TeamSpeak and used revo uninstaller to remove left over data and registry keys. this did not solve the issue. I have removed 2 factor. this did not solve the issue. these two accounts are usually run from a wireless vlan and a wired vlan. both of which i have tested back and forth. its just this one account that no matter what i do, encryption keys don’t seem to want to be fetched from it.

edit - it seems this account no longer fetches keys either.

Are you using the accounts on the same PC? And his the Account online while requesting the keys?

hey thanks for replying, yeah they are both online, though i usually keep them on invisible status. but to trouble shoot this i put both of them in online status.

one account is usually operated from my laptop, a macbook air. and the other is on my pc.

I have tried both alternating accounts, logging in from the mac and the pc and consistently this account is the one that refuses to fetch or have encryption keys fetched from. after re-install, older messages are viewable (which they always have been) so I assume, once decrypted they stay that way. but new messages don’t decrypt.

Okay that’s weird, I would like to check the logs of both clients.

Can you please clear the log folders on both systems.

Restart both clients (Mac and Windows) and then send the logs to me via DM.

Adding to this thread that I am experiencing this same issue: everyone is online but it never succeeds in retrying to fetch the keys. This has persisted since the service issues that were presenting the week of 9/10. My account was showing as offline and all chats were showing offline but I could join voice channels; presence and everything is showing as normal now but I have the chat encryption issues. I have attempted a recovery key refresh as well a full reinstall of TeamSpeak client.
