How to retrieve logs from your TeamSpeak client

This thread is a how-to retrieve logs from TeamSpeak 6 to help us identify an issue.


NOTE: the logs may include confidential information like server addresses and usernames of people you are chatting with. So before uploading please have a quick look over them and censor or send them via a DM to the person who has requested them.


  1. Search in the search bar for Developer Tools
    (or if you’r client is not set to English you need to search for it in the translated language. See the list down below)

  2. Set the Log Level to trace

  3. Close your Client

  4. Delete all content in your log folder or move it to a different location.
    Folder location:
    Windows: %localappdata%\TeamSpeak\Logs\Default
    Linux: ~/.cache/TeamSpeak/Default/logs
    Mac: ~/Library/logs/TeamSpeak

  5. Then start your client and reproduce the bug.

  6. Once your client has successfully reproduced the issue please zip up all the log files and upload it to Drive or another file sharing service.
