Mac OS Sonoma not able to install TS5 Software, has to be updated contact the Developer

When trying to start TS5 after Downloading the DMG and copying it to the Applications Folder it does not work.

With this Error message: “TeamSpeak” kann nicht geöffnet werden, da Apple darin nicht nach Schadsoftware suchen kann. Diese Software muss aktuallisiert werden. Wende dich an den Entwickler, um weiter Informationen zu erhalten.

Please read the following:

  1. Suche im Finder auf deinem Mac nach der App, die du öffnen möchtest.Verwende nicht das Launchpad, um die App zu finden.
  2. Klicke bei gedrückter Taste „ctrl“ auf das Symbol der App und wähle „Öffnen“ aus dem Kontextmenü aus.
  3. Klicke auf „Öffnen“.Die App wird als Ausnahme zu deinen Sicherheitseinstellungen gesichert, sodass du sie jederzeit wie eine registrierte App durch Doppelklicken öffnen kannst.

(It`s a work around and not a fix for the Problem, they should sitll Update the App.)

We are aware that Apple is doing “Apple things” with apps downloaded from anywhere else then the Store…
There is absolutely no reason why apple can no longer scan their own stuff…

I have to agree with the original poster here. An actual fix would be better than just a workaround that intentionally circumvents a computer’s security, which is an absolutely ridiculous and horrible idea to even suggest. “Apple doing Apple things” doesn’t negate the fact that the development team should still be fixing their software so it remains compatible. As it stands, nothing has been done to release an update to fix this, and it has been more than 6 months now.
