myTS Username our of sync with / is not the same as the chat ID

Hey there, i was looking into my settings and account and underneath the badge window i found an email adress going: [email protected]. Yet thats not the email i use to loginto myteamspeak nor is it any i recognize. Thats why i made a whole new TS account but yet that email is still there how can i change or remove that. Heres a pic of how it looks

That is your myTS Account name with the @myteamspeak.com identifier.

It looks like an email but it is not directly an email address, rather an identifier on which chat server you are located on.

Is there any way to change that?

Currently it is not possible to change the name as the system to change your username is disabled right now.

Just to make sure does the [email protected] match your username or is it different?

It is different, very much so. I thought it was tied to my username thats why i thought creating a new account would also change it.

In this case please follow the following steps:

  1. Logging out of the client
  2. Closing the client
  3. Deleting / renaming the cache folder
  4. Start and login
  5. Now you should get the correct chat account assigned

Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\TeamSpeak\Cache\Default
Linux: ~/.cache/TeamSpeak/Default
MacOS: ~/Library/Caches/TeamSpeak
